Who Is the Adidas Drive 3.4 For?
It is for complete beginners and casual players. The round shape and soft core make it very forgiving, so you can focus on learning the game.
Good for
- Complete beginners
- Casual and holiday players
- Anyone buying a spare racket for friends
Not ideal for
- Regular players who are improving fast
- Players who want power
How It Performs
The Drive is easy to use. The sweet spot is in the middle of the face, and the soft core cushions the ball, so mishits are not punished much.
Power is limited and the feel is basic next to carbon rackets. For the price, though, it does the job well.

There is little between the two. Padel Market is just over £1 cheaper.
Our Verdict
The Drive is a sensible, cheap first racket. Once you play every week you will probably want to move up, but for learning the basics it is hard to fault at this price.
