It is built for expert players who attack. The high balance, at about 26.3cm, puts a lot of weight in the head, so smashes have real power, but the racket needs a strong, well timed swing.
Good for
- Expert and advanced players
- Attacking players who live at the net
- Strong players who want a pro racket at a low price
Not ideal for
- Beginners and intermediate players
- Players with sore elbows or shoulders
- Anyone who wants a light, fast racket
How It Performs
The X-Tend Carbon 12K face is firm, so the racket rewards clean contact with a fast, direct ball. In addition, the 3D textured surface helps you add spin.
The MultiEva core softens things slightly on slower shots. Even so, this is a demanding racket, and most club players will get more from a teardrop.

Verdict
Overall, the Icon 2025 is a lot of racket for under £90. Because it is heavy and head heavy, it also gives strong players real power on the smash. However, it is far too demanding for most club players, so be honest about your level before buying. Still, if you attack and hit cleanly, it is one of the best bargains of the season.
