StarVie Astrum+ review

StarVie Astrum+ Review: Balance Between Power and Control

The StarVie Astrum+ is a teardrop racket that sits between the round and diamond models in the StarVie range. The 2026 version uses a 12K Carbon Hyper face over an M-Eva Balance core.

StarVie pitches it at players who want control and power in equal measure. That makes it one of the more versatile rackets the Spanish brand sells.

How It Plays

The 12K Carbon Hyper face is stiff and responsive, so the ball leaves quickly when you swing through it. On slower shots the M-Eva core keeps things controllable.

The teardrop shape gives a sweet spot that is a little higher than on a round racket. Bandejas and viboras feel solid, and defence is still comfortable.

Our Verdict

The Astrum+ is a well balanced racket from a brand that does not get as much attention in the UK as it should. At £132.99, it is good value for a 12K carbon all rounder.
