Wilson Bela Pro V3 review

Wilson Bela Pro V3 Review: Built for Big Hitters

The Wilson Bela Pro V3 is the top of the Bela range and the one Fernando Belasteguin uses himself. It is the heaviest and stiffest of the three, built for players who want to finish points.

Wilson pairs a 24K carbon face with Power Foam and a higher balance. At 370g it asks more of your arm, but it gives more back on the smash.

Who It Suits

This racket is for advanced players with good technique. You need a fast, full swing to get the most from it, and the stiff face rewards clean contact.

Good for

  • Advanced players who attack from the net
  • Players who hit a lot of flat or kick smashes
  • Anyone who found the Bela V3 too soft

Not ideal for

  • Beginners and most intermediates
  • Players with elbow or shoulder trouble

How It Performs

The Pro V3 is firm. On full swings the ball comes off the face fast, and smashes have real pace. When you catch it right, smashes that bounce out of the court are well within reach.

The trade is comfort and forgiveness. Off centre hits feel harsher than on the Bela V3, and the higher balance makes long defensive rallies more tiring.

If you have the technique, though, it is one of the most rewarding attacking rackets Wilson has made.
